Busy Women MakeUp Selections That Won't Break the Bank!

This post will bring us to the end of the first week of the new year!  I thought in the spirit of busy women I would follow through with my top 5 makeup selections that won't break the bank!

1. Foundation Powder:

Physician's Formula - Mineral Wear® Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30

 I just love this product!  It's easy to apply and comes with it's own brush.  Not only does it have SPF 30 in it but because it's a mineral powder it acts like a cream foundation without the heavy feeling that a cream foundation can sometimes leave.

It can be purchased at Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart or any beauty supply store that carries Physician's Formula.

The price ranges between $12.00 - $14.00 including taxes.  With daily wear it should last you a good 3 - 4 months!



2. Eye Liner:  

Rimmel London - Special Eyes Eyeliner Pencil

Normally I would recommend going with a more expensive eye line because they glide on like a knife through butter but unfortunately unless you practice daily cleaning of your makeup products it's not worth the money!

Rimmel has done a fantastic job with this eye liner, it is quite soft and comes in 8 different shades.

It can be purchased at any beauty supply store that carries Rimmel London and it only costs between $3.00 - $5.00.



3. Blush:

CoverGirl - Cheekers Blush

I have used CoverGirl practically my whole life.  The cost of this blush versus the quality of the product is unheard of.  It's long lasting and blends beautifully.

Again, another product you can find at your local Walmart or Shoppers Drug Mart or any retailer that carries CoverGirl.

The price ranges between $3.00 - $7.00 and should last you 3 to 4 months.



4. Mascara:

NYC (New York Color) - Sky Rise Lengthening Mascara

This product is a real steal!  Under $2.00 at your local Walmart or any retailer that carries NYC products.

I love, love, love the bristles on this wand, they are short and are perfect for quick and easy application!










5. Lipstain:

NYC (New York Color) - 16 Hr Lip Stain

Another steal!  Under $3.00 and purchased anywhere NYC products are available.

You don't have to use a lipstain, you can use lipstick. But if you don't have time to keep reapplying your lipstick a lipstain is the way to go!!
